  • Application process

Before applying to Rothschild we would encourage you to learn about us so that you can tailor your application to our organisation. We have a vast amount of information on our website that can help you prepare for the initial stages of the application process, but if you have the opportunity please come and meet us in person.

To apply for any of our positions you must complete our online application form. The application form is your first chance to show us that you have what we are looking for and to convince us to invite you for an interview. The way you present yourself at this stage is crucial to your success. Please note that applications are reviewed on a rolling basis so an early application is strongly encouraged.

You must ensure you comply with any specific requirements or procedures that your university may require. Prior to submitting your application, please check its accuracy and make sure you have taken the time to answer the competency questions well.

If your application is successful you will be invited to take part in our two-stage interview process. You will be invited to attend a first round interview, which is usually 30 minutes in duration with at least two people conducting the interview. You will also be asked to sit a verbal and numerical test. If you perform well at the first assessment you will be invited back for a final round assessment. This is typically a panel interview with senior employees from the relevant business. For some programmes there may also be an individual presentation exercise.

If you are successful, we will make you an offer normally within a week or two of your final interview. You will receive an offer letter and we will talk you through the highlights as well as answer any questions you may have.
